Unfortunately this is the only pharmacy in town. Fair warning...You might wanna go to one of the many pharmacies in Gorham (just a short ride down the road).
I've had some trouble at this pharmacy. I had a prescription that was "filled." It was double checked and initialled but when I got home I looked in the bottle and could tell I did not get the number prescribed. Needless to say I took the prescription back and spoke to the pharmacy manager. They corrected the short but it didn't set well with me that it was double checked and I was still short. It very clearly wasn't double checked. Count your pills.
All this being said things have improved recently. It's just a shame I had to get ugly to get my point across.
Lapin and I came to this grocery store while visiting Maine. The grocery store is big, clean, and inviting. The cashier, Sylvia P was friendly and gave suggestions when we told her we were visiting. The grocery store has a decent wine/beer/liquor section with average prices. My only qualm, is double check the prices on your receipt. Just realized most of the meat was priced under $10 on the package, but rang up more than $15 for one package. I calculated I overspent by $40, definitely not a fun experience now that I am in NY and can't get my money back.
I have also noticed that very often they are "out" of many prescriptions I have filled. These are prescriptions that I get monthly. One time I was out and was told they would receive a shipment a couple of days later only to find out their supplier was out. Nobody offered to have it filled at another store. These are medicines that you can't start and stop.
